Accounting/Human Resources Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
• Complete expense reports, reconcile receipts and categorize expenses.
• Verify and post details of business transactions, totaling accounts to spreadsheets and databases.
• Audit invoices against purchase orders.
• Help with recruiting process, including advertising open positions, scheduling interviews and administering tests.
• Interact with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as parking, transportation or relocation services.
• Administer Commute Trip Reduction program.
• Perform administrative support services such as copying, faxing, scanning, data entry, typing, filing, etc.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, etc.

• Must be experienced in maintaining confidentiality with regard to information processed, stored or accessed.
• Must have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented with an emphasis on follow-through.
• Must be multi-task oriented with the ability and desire to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills and understands the audience he or she is speaking to.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint) and Accounting software.

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 2-4 years combined related education/experience.
