Next IT is seeking a skilled Implementation Engineer with web project experience to be responsible for the overall process of working with a client’s project team throughout a project to validate, deliver and install the customized Next IT product, as well as support the client after project completion.
In this role you will test and validate customized code; design, document and maintain technical requirements for implementations based on recommended product architecture and client environment; review and contribute to project requirement collection efforts; develop and maintain test plans and test sheets based on use case documents for project; troubleshoot client issues working with resources client-side and internally; package deliverables for each release and validate functionality and compatibility; perform initial client installation and provide support for additional installations either on-site or remotely; initiate performance evaluation tests for implementation; manage and maintain hosted production environments.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have experience with Windows Server Management (IIS, Windows Components, Script Commands), Networking Knowledge (Load Balancers, Firewalls), Quality Assurance testing (Black Box, Ad hoc, Gray Box), Technical writing, Customer interaction.Software and web development skills using the .Net framework are desirable. The candidate must also have experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, and Project) and be willing to travel and provide some off work hours of support.
Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field and 2-4 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
