ActiveAgent Context-based Architecture
At Next IT we understand how critical it is to provide consistent, accurate information to your customers, employees, and partners across business segments. Our context-based approach can be used to provide self-service to your users through multiple channels—web, intranet, and contact center. Once you build the knowledge base for one communication channel—your website for example—the other channels become progressively easier to implement. This is possible because most, if not all, of the knowledge and backend integration remains the same from one communication channel to the next.
Context IQ Engine™ All of Next IT’s software applications are built upon our exclusive core technology, the Context IQ Engine™. As a stimulus/response engine, the Context IQ Engine takes input from multiple sources (stimulus) and uses its innate capabilities and subsequent training to determine the best response. Through a user-friendly natural language interface, non-programmers can “teach” the engine how to respond to a given stimulus in a particular situation.
Parse Data The Context IQ Engine reads and understands textual documents and textual input streams; the parsing engine can recognize words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. The engine analyzes these groups of words to verify concepts. Furthermore, it uses lexical analysis to recognize patterns in order to detect critical embedded information.
Understand Words—Understand Context By design, Context IQ is situationally aware, in that the engine understands the inquiry in light of the context in which it is offered. Context IQ technology allows the computer to understand textual input and make associations about conceptual definitions like humans do. These associations are what put statements into “context”. Both the concepts and the context are compared to responses in a knowledge base and the appropriate response can be formulated.
For example, if the context is set to "sports", Context IQ Engine will understand that a reference to a bat in this context is likely related to a baseball or cricket bat, not an animal that flies and hunts at night for insects.
Benefits of the Context IQ Engine Today, we offer a suite of intelligent customer resolution applications for your enterprise. Next IT's talented developers have a proven track record of using the Context IQ Engine technology to create useful solutions, and offer the promise of a wide variety of powerful applications in the future.
