Next IT is seeking a skilled Project Manager with large project experience to be responsible for the overall relationship management of assigned client accounts ensuring the organization is able to deliver quality projects and services on time and within budget through effect use of organizational resources.
In this role you will act as a bridge between the customer, stakeholders, and the solution team and manage the overall relationship and expectations of assigned clients. You will also interface with various internal teams to meet client and organizational goals, and authorize work completed for assigned clients. You will handle oversight and coordination of all overlapping project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deliverables for assigned client projects while researching and recommending enhancements and tools that facilitate improvement in information accessibility and usability.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have project management experience with the proven ability to be responsible for and manage complex software implementations. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including strategic planning, feasibility studies, requirements analysis, unit coding and testing, integration, system and acceptance testing, maintenance and retirement. You will also possess knowledge and experience in several development methodologies including Joint Application Development (JAD), Rapid Application Development (RAD) and structured design as well as knowledge and experience implementing IEEE standards including Project management plans, Project Charters, Requirements Specifications, Software Requirements Specifications, Independent Verification and Validation, Software Design Documents and Software Testing. You must be willing to travel up to 50%.
Education: The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field and 4-6 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CBAP certification, PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.Domain driven design experience, and Software/Database development experience is also preferred.
