Next IT is looking for the ideal candidate to join our QA team working to ensure high quality in a diverse set of software applications. The role requires ability to collaborate with multiple people on and off site in a fast paced work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing both core component software and integrated packages to be installed at client sites. This can include running performance tests and building installers. Understanding of client needs and software capability will facilitate creation and use of good test scripts. The team is also responsible for setting up and maintaining builds and the associated test environments to support both external and internal software projects. This opportunity is located in Spokane, WA

Responsibilities:

• 1-3 years as a QA engineer.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Experience in testing of both Web and Desktop applications.
• Experience in creating, running and maintaining test cases and creating and maintaining defect reports.
• Familiarity with set up and use of load testing and automated testing tools.
• Software development experience is highly recommended.
• .NET framework experience is desirable but not required.
• Applied knowledge of Internet Information Services and Windows Server 2003 machines along with experience with scripting languages is recommended.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university or combination of experience and/or education.
