GoArmy’s Virtual Guide takes next step in Human Emulation

SPOKANE, WA. (February 12, 2009) — The U.S. Army announced that it has added animation to Sergeant STARs arsenal of features. Since the launch of their Virtual Guide Sergeant STAR in 2006, the U.S. Army continues to see positive results in their Web site engagements. Sergeant STAR is a dynamic, intelligent self-service solution that helps Army Web site (www.goarmy.com) visitors quickly navigate and retrieve Army related information through personal interaction with Sergeant STAR.

Originally developed and recently animated by Human Emulation Software™ pioneer Next IT, Sergeant STAR has been successfully engaging potential Army recruits for over two years, and has fielded nearly 3 million questions to date. The Army continues to seek out cutting edge approaches to connect with potential recruits. The addition of this three dimensional aspect to the trusted Virtual Guide is a valuable differentiator from other less intelligent applications; allowing them to stay ahead of the curve and drive user engagement.
