Privacy policy

Introduction

Next IT respects your privacy. This statement is our assurance to you that we follow appropriate standards when it comes to protecting your privacy when you use our Web site. We hope that our detailed Privacy Policy will give you as much information as possible about our privacy practices to allow you, in turn, to make an informed decision.

In order to provide you with the greatest service possible and information that you may desire about our offerings, we collect and sometimes disclose information about you. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to our use and disclosure of such information. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of the type of information we collect, how we use the information, with whom we share it, and what security measures we have taken to protect your personal information. We also want you to know your options regarding the collection and use of this information, and how you can correct any inaccuracy.

The Privacy Policy applies to www.NextIT.com. From time to time, our Web site may contain hyperlinks to other sites. If you click on one of these hyperlinks, and leave the Next IT site, please note that you will be directed to another Web site that is not under our control. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these linked sites, as their privacy policies may differ from ours and we cannot take any responsibility for the policies adopted by other organizations.

How do we collect information?

We only collect information that is voluntarily submitted by you. We do NOT collect any information without your knowledge and consent. For example, information about you may be collected when you submit information on registration forms, when you request technical support, or when you request additional information. We only require that you provide complete contact information if and when you choose to demo our software.

What about "cookies"?

We currently use "cookies" on our Web site. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow the Next IT Web site to remember your computer when you log back on and to remember certain customizable features or settings. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to reject cookies. If you reject the cookie described here, you will still be able to access most of the features available on the Next IT Web site. However, you may not be able to use some customizable features.

How do we use the information that we gather?

Next IT is the sole owner of all information about you that we collect on the Next IT Web site. We do not, and will not, sell, rent, or share your information with any third-party organization in a way that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

We use information about you to make our Web site as user friendly as possible. To that end, we may use your information to improve our promotional efforts, to further customize our Web site, and to improve site content.

We may use your contact information to get in touch with you about our Web site. In most cases, the communication will be about materials that you have requested, questions that you have posed to our support staff, or opportunities that may be of interest to you. We may also share your information with our partners who have products or services that may be of interest to you. Our communication with you will usually be electronic or occasionally through the United States Postal Service. However, we reserve the right to contact you by telephone if you have provided us with your telephone number.

We reserve the right to disclose personally identifiable information about you to local, state, federal or international law enforcement, or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe is appropriate in connection with any official investigation of illegal activity such as fraud or intellectual property infringement. We may also use your information to comply with exportation laws regarding encryption. (We must verify that a user is from an approved country before allowing software to be downloaded.)

If and when we do track your behavior, it will be for the limited purposes of allowing us to further customize our services to make your experience easier. We may also use your IP (Internet Protocol) address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Web site, and to do internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior. Ultimately, we hope this will help us to better serve you. Of course, if we do track information about you in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect and explain how such information gathering would occur.

How do you opt-out?

With regard to the collection, use, and distribution of your information, you do have the choice of "opting out". In other words, we will collect and use your information under the strict guidance of this Privacy Policy unless you request that we do not do so. To make such a request, please contact us at Info@NextIT.com.

How do you update information?

In order to update or change any information that you have provided us on our Web site, please contact us at Info@NextIT.com.

If you opt-out or change your information, under limited circumstances, we will retain some information you have requested us to remove or change. Such circumstances include the need to troubleshoot problems and keep records of contracts that we have entered into with you. Because of technical limitations in connection with assuring that our systems are regularly backed up, it is also important to note that information is never totally erased from the site's memory.

How do we secure your information?

Next IT takes appropriate precautions to secure your information both online and offline, although "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet. Online, we guard the privacy and confidentiality of your personally identifiable information with safeguards such as firewall protection. We do not currently collect any sensitive information such as credit card numbers. This Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect any changes that may take place in the future regarding sensitive information. Offline, all information that you provide about yourself and your customers is restricted in our offices.

How do we notify you of changes?

Any changes and/or additions that we make, which may affect what information we collect or share, will be reflected by modifications to this Privacy Policy.

Still have questions?

If you still have any questions about this Privacy Policy or about our privacy practices, please do not hesitate to contact us at Info@NextIT.com.
